A little bit about me... I am a family and wedding photographer in Boston, Massachusetts. I love natural light and I love moments! Moments that tell just a little something about the person being photographed or that special connection between people. I would call myself an outgoing observer. Is that even a thing? As for what my loved ones say about me? Well...
Most of my friends: "Alina? She is hysterical!"
My one friend who is always super serious, but sometimes funny: "Nope, not funny at all. Although she thinks she is!"
My mom (with a very slight accent): "She is really very talented."
My baby sister: "She is my favorite sister." (Full disclosure on this one, I am her only sister.)
I love the ocean, quiet getaways up North, and of course just hanging out with my family and friends. Oh, and I may be slightly addicted to every Bachelor franchise ever created (please don't judge)!

This is a way of giving back to families doing something I love.
I was beyond blessed with two "easy" pregnancies and beautiful, full term babies... I can't possibly comprehend how difficult it must be to have to wait for weeks or even months to bring your little one(s) home.
I decided to call this The Blueberry Wishes Project for my kids. I used to call them my little blueberries while pregnant (because you know, at some point they were the size of a blueberry) and every time I think about that time, it just makes me smile.

I am currently offering sessions at South Shore Hospital.
To qualify for a free NICU session, infants must have been born prior to 34 weeks OR have a condition in which they are anticipated to have at least a 4 week hospital stay.
I am an independent photographer, which means I don't work for the hospital as a photographer or on behalf of an organization. When I come to the hospital, I am doing so as a guest of the family.
Since these sessions are in addition to my photography business, my availability is limited, so please reach out early in your stay! Even if you baby is not able to be held yet and/or have wires or tubes in place. I promise you will be thankful later on when you can see just how far your little one has come.
Sessions are approx. 30-45 minutes long.
These sessions are for "lifestyle" and are not posed. I will give you a little direction during the session while still photographing in a natural way that tells a story.
All session requests must be made by Mom or Dad, but family members and friends are more than welcome to refer parents to me.
You will receive approx. 10 full-resolution digital images and a print release (allowing you to print anywhere you would like) within 3 weeks of the session.

Contact me early in your baby's hospital stay, not right before discharge. Even if you baby is not able to be held yet, I promise you will be thankful to have images of when they were itty bitty.

Please don't worry about wires, tubes, or anything else - these images of how far your little one has come will be precious to you later on.
A couple of suggestions for Mom and Dad on what to wear. Avoid dark colors. Choose solid colored or minimal patterns without large logos or words that can be distracting in pictures.
Moving and handling Baby is up to Mom, Dad, and the nurses. I will not hold or move your little one during our session.

Held in your home with 6-10 participants. Complimentary for the host and $50 per student.
